Offset Printing

A commonly used printing technique in which the inked image is transferred ("offset") from a plate to a rubber blanket, then to the printing surface.
You can rely on Pretone to produce the highest quality attention-grabbing print material. Pretone has a 4-colour Heidelberg Press, offering speed and flexibility for all your offset printing.

Our Offset Printing services include:

Printing Terms
  • Artwork: The electronic files that is given in final form for print reproduction.
  • 4-color-process: Combining four basic colours (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black) to create a print.
  • PMS: Or "spot" colours. Each PMS colour has a unique number and formula for ink mixing.
  • Stock: The material to be printed.
  • Bond paper: Strong durable paper grade used for most stationery items.
  • Matte paper: Is a non-glossy, flat looking paper with very little sheen.
  • Gloss paper: Has a high sheen, like a typical magazine.
